The red ones are sour, not yet ripe. The black ones are ripe and are unreal, indescribable, incomparable. The farmer says with a smile “they taste like mulberries.”
It was a hot day at the mulberry orchard. Those pine trees on either side of the mulberry trees were planted by the farmer to protect the fragile fruit from wind!
